Position Overview:

We are seeking a Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in construction, plumbing, or outdoor trades who are looking to build a long-term career in the septic industry. The Technician will lead Junior Technicians in performing system repairs, maintenance, and installations. This includes septic pumps, alarms, crossovers, and full septic system builds. Additionally, the Technician will assist Senior Technicians in large-scale projects such as at-grade, mound, and field installations.

A background in construction and experience working with outdoor landscaping materials, soil types, sands, and clays is a strong asset. This is a career-track position, offering long-term advancement opportunities within SepTech Solutions Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Junior Technicians in conducting annual maintenance for SepTech service subscribers
  • Oversee pump, alarm, crossover, and delivery mechanics installations
  • Assist Senior Technicians with full septic system builds, including at-grade, mound, and field installations
  • Support new septic tank installations, lateral mechanics, and full septic delivery systems
  • Gain hands-on experience in custom septic system builds and remediation technologies
  • Learn electrical basics for installing and hardwiring SepTech’s industry-leading septic alarms
  • Assist in building, installing, and servicing aerobic bacteria generators for full system remediation
  • Fabricate custom PVC seals, fittings, manifolds, and crossovers
  • Troubleshoot septic system failures and problem-solve in the field
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth and training, advancing toward Senior Technician roles

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, or outdoor trades preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Understanding of soil types, sands, and clays as they relate to septic system installation and
  • performance

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company, with long-term career ambitions
  • Ability to lead Junior Technicians and work as part of a collaborative team
  • Must be punctual, professional, well-spoken, and customer-service oriented
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
