I was drawn to Septech Solutions because of their 5 star rating and let me tell me they not only lived up to it but I would give them 6 stars if I could. I/ called Septech for a septic tank inspection on a rural property I was hoping to purchase.
Shane did the inspection and he was fantastic. What really stood out to me was his extensive knowledge and his passion to educate about how a proper septic system should work. This was really important to me because I’ve been living in a city my whole life so rural living is a huge change for me and my young family.
Furthermore, we encountered complications with the initial inspection as the discharge line was frozen (thank you polar vortex!) but Shane put me at ease because he offered to do a re-check free of charge. He didn’t stop there as he offered to be contacted by the seller so he could give free advice on how to deal with the frozen line. Even beyond that Shane was super responsive to my emails and even called me on his day off to let me know that he was going to do everything he could to protect me and family from making a bad decision.
Ultimately at the time of the re-check the line wasn’t thawed but Shane still came out to the property to meet with myself, the seller and the realtors so we could all discuss the situation and next steps. Although limited by circumstance, Shane’s expertise was still able to inspire enough confidence in me to proceed knowing what I’m getting myself into and more importantly that he would be there to help make that septic system last as long (or longer)as my family lives in the home. It was really great to have him in my corner.
That said, Shane and Septech have definitely earned the right to be my first call when we take possession so they can implement the recommendations to improve the system. I highly recommend calling them if you want a septic system professionally inspected as you will get more than what you pay for. (6 star treatment.)
On that note, I want to take one last moment to thank Shane for all his time and effort. Shane, I can tell that you are proud of what you do and that pride shows in your commitment to me as your client and your commitment to educate all who will listen about how a septic system should operate. I have a 30 plus year old septic field that was starting to fail and I wanted to fix it rather than replace it. I was looking into options for quite sometime, talked to MANY people and then I came across SepTech.
